The Brief - To provide wheel chair access to the garden.
- To provide a low maintenance seating and entertaining area with contrasting surfaces to give a feeling of space.
- To enable a low maintenance planting scheme as a central feature.
Our Concept - To remain within budget the basic structure of the garden was maintained, new levels were set to provide a platform for access.
- A sleeper ramp was built from new wood sleepers set to a gradient which makes for easy access.
- The sleepers were used to build a deck like platform as access onto a natural sandstone patio.
- An oval built from stone paviours and filled with contrasting material.
