The Brief

• Remove all planting and structure, in particular any use of gravel.
• Retain the central feature and introduce a water feature.
• Provide seating areas.
• Provide mains power to garden.
• Provide new paving under conservatory and patio outside back door.

Our Concept

• Remove and reshape the garden to provide a greater feeling of space.
• Use Fossil Mint paving to provide a light contrast to the relayed lawn.
• Retain slopes and curves to provide an undulating feel.
• Use of curves and circles to give shape.
• Install a water feature to provide a contrast in colour and texture. A drilled slate stone is set in an oval frame, surrounded by hand broken and graded Devon Rustic Slate.
• Use bamboo as a retainer and back drop for a statue.
